Assabet Interactive is committed to ensuring our software is usable and accessible to everyone—including those with disability challenges—by meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA, and providing an ACR representative of the system’s compliance (available upon request).
In the first quarter of 2026, Assabet Interactive engaged with an independent accessibility auditor approved by the State of Massachusetts’ own state-wide contract for accessibility services (ITS82). We took this approach to ensure that we would be subject to the same rigorous assessment methods as any public entity.
The Assabet Interactive platform was built using fundamental web development techniques, targeting clean semantic markup output with the use of native HTML 5 elements to minimize accessibility barriers. As a result, no critical issues were identified in the initial phase of the audit, although a number of enhancements were recommended and subsequently implemented to aid keyboard navigation, screen reader parsing, and visual legibility.
Assabet Interactive plans to continue accessibility compliance testing using an independent auditor when significant changes occur to the system’s user interface and functionality. This statement will be updated to reflect the most recent activity in this regard.
